Not a spoiler, but a warning anyway:

All I'm going to say is that I have never lost respect for a character as quickly as I did Rey at the end of this film.
After the last few years defending her character, arguing she wasnt a mary sue, etc.
I feel pretty betrayed.

Overall - A big FU to JJ Abrams. What a mess of a film. I dont think I can stomach writing anymore about it. The 3 stars are for the aesthetic appeal and some of the jokes. That was SO BAD.

The next movie starts with Preggo Rey and the father is Ben

Let the past die. unless we can computer generate it for some nostalgia bucks! RIght, Yogurt. Youve made me love the movie even more. On your feet. People can't get excited on their own. “Youssa have been muy bad”. ignites lightsaber and removes cloak to reveal he is Darth Jar jar as vulture droids fly above him.

Fantastic! I went in with an open mind what to expect. It was very well paced (albeit a bit too fast paced at the beginning. JJ did an outstanding job with the footage he captured in the Force Awakens with Carrie Fisher (RIP. It was very fitting.
Visual Effects/Cinematography/Soundtrack - outstanding.
Acting - outstanding.
Story - ok, yes some questionable parts but on the whole it was great and the ending just got better and better I thought.
This is a great movie. I grew up with the Original Star Wars movies. Not quite the same 'magic' as the originals, but definitely the best of these three.
As for the scores of 1-5 on here. Seriously, either there are some serious haters of the new Star Wars films; people made up their minds before seeing it, or haven't even bothered to see it.
I shall be seeing this for a 2nd viewing soon.

I really think Palps comment about “your coming together will be your undoing” might have to do with Rey and Kylo. This saga has always had a core theme of BALANCE and I think you find that in these two characters and what they bring to each other and what the Force has manifested within them. I think Rey and Kylo coming together may truly be the what the Force has intended all along. The acceptance of both light and darkness within all of us just as the Force, itself, isnt light or dark. It just is balance. Connection. But, I digress! This is just my opinion and one of my favorite topics! Call me a Reylo if you will. Ill wear the name proudly. I will say, no one will sway me one way or another from enjoying this movie as I have the last 8 movies. This is Star Wars and I honestly cant imagine myself leaving that theatre disappointed. ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

My mind keeps going back to The Chosen One Anakin Skywalker. He will bring balance to the force. The entire third trilogy makes you want the dark side to win. George had such a huge budget yet he used James and Harrison as voiceovers in the trailers. After seeing this i realized that this could be the best attempt to salvage whats left to tell about the the new characters and deliver an overall satisfying ending but no matter how hard they try they just cannot undo the damage done by the last jedi, they just cant. sad. No one's ever really gone -Meeeesaa back. Star wars 2019 the year of closure. I didnt care about JJ Abrams coming back to direct because I hated the Force Awakens. PS your intro is amazing.
